the Turkish occupation, the domination of foreign rulers, world
wars, civil wars, military coups.
How to travel to Greece
By Plane
The fastest and often the cheapest way. There are
direct flights to Greece , from all five continents. The Eleftherios
Venizelos airport accommodates both domestic and international flights.
Thessaloniki , Heraklion, Chania Rhodes, Kos, Limnos, Samos, Skiathos,

The crossing from Igoumenitsa takes 24 hours, and 26 hours for
Patras.
